Ok, so I'm reading this fic. And it's a good fic. But only about every third sentence starts with a capital letter. I know I can't spell, but I try to over come that problem by using words I know how to spell and clicking the spell check. And maybe it's because I was a proofreader so long, but I hate it when authors, especially authors who gush over their beta's, leave in such OBVIOUS errors. I just want to send them a nasty note informing them of their poor choice in beta's and the need to actually read over what they are gonna post.

It's taken me a couple of days to come up with a response to this. First
let me start off by saying I'm a survivor. And as such I have nothing
but contempt and malicious thoughts for rapists. However, much to my
surprise, my first feeling was deep deep sorrow. That women were now
responsible for armoring themselves before they can leave the relative
safety of their homes. How could society have slipped so far backward
that women are now responsible for defending themselves against men.
Should men be held accountable for their own actions? Shouldn't we
demand that grown men maintain the behavioral standards we demand of
five year olds? No hitting, no pushing, and no hurting others. And as I
thought about that I worked myself into quit an anger. And then I roamed
around the site to see what they had to say. You can imagine my response
to someone thinking the rapist should have rights. Not likely. Then I
read about the concerns that women would wear this device to payback or
implicate men. And then I was really furious. I can't imagine a decent
human being doing this. Then again I can't imagine a decent human being
being a rapist either.
So I'm left with half of me cheering this on, and the other part
horrified and saddened.
